My next Adventure: Philadelphia!

Image
Hey guys! Hope your Monday night is going well. I want to try and write more consistently. I am trying to find a good day to write each week, but I wanted to tell you about my next adventure before I head off! I can't to see the east coast. I can't wait to go further than San Antonio, Texas. That's the furthest I've ever been so I'm stoked to travel again. I want to travel the world one day. This is just my next step to seeing the world. For updates on my preparation for my trip to Philly and while I'm there, head over to my PR blog,  janessalynpr.blogspot.com .  Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, here I come!

Missionary Shout-Out

Image
Hey readers! I just wanted to give a shout-out to three of my best friends out on their missions right now. I received emails from all three of them, and I am just so humbled by how amazing they are and how much they love the Lord. This is Sister Samantha Stewart and Sister Lacey Palmer. I am humbled by their willingness to serve, even though I know it was hard for both of them to be able to go. Their desires to serve outweighed everything else.  This is Sister Audrey Jojo Roper. I worked with her at Oakcrest Girls' ...

Come Listen to a Prophet's Voice

One of our family's tradition is to have M&Ms while watching and playing Conference Bingo. I can't imagine watching conference without one or both during most if not all sessions. I have always loved Conference. Their words inspired and lift me. Even though they are speaking to millions of people all over the world, they somehow know just what to say that soothes my soul and is exactly what I need in my life. Topics range every session of Conference from missionary work to families, from marriage to pornography, from grieving to happiness. Just about every Gospel topic that members of the Church need at this time is covered. If you have any questions or doubts in your mind about the Gospel or struggling with anything in your life, I challenge ...
