Rock Chips and Repentance

A few weeks ago, I got a rock chip in my windshield as I was driving. I was really upset at first and told myself that I would get it fixed immediately so I wouldn't have to get the entire windshield replaced. I had to do that a few years ago and it wasn't cheap, so I wasn't too fond of repeating that process again. I looked up places to get it repaired and then I had a crazy week of work. It wasn't growing or spreading further into my windshield, so I kept putting it off. Honestly by that point I forgot about it, until I came out of work one night and it had spread across 3/4 of my windshield. I was mortified! How could this happen?? I had every intention of getting it fixed before this happened.... but I had waited too long. The chip had only been about the size of a nickel, and this is how it spread. I was really upset with myself the rest of that night. I was over it by the next day and scheduled to get it replaced the next week. What does this all have t...

You Are Enough

This is a phrase that I'm going to have to keep reminding myself everyday, most likely for the rest of my life. I have a hard time believing that I do enough, that I am enough. Especially as I prepare to serve a full time mission in Tennessee, I keep having doubts whether I am going to be a good enough missionary, if I'm prepared enough, if I really have what it takes. So for those of you who are wondering any of these questions in your own life and circumstances, wondering if you are enough, if you have what it takes, if you are doing enough, or any version of these questions, let me tell you, and myself, You ARE enough! President Monson has said this: "Remember that this work is not yours and mine alone. It is the Lord's work, and when we are on the Lord's errand, we are entitled to the Lord's help. To...the Future!

My life has been so crazy the last few weeks getting ready for graduation and other changes in my life. Between Thursday and Monday, I had three major life changes: -Graduated from Utah Valley University with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Business Management                                                                                -I received my temple endowment in the Manti Utah temple.                         -I received my mission call to the Tennessee Knoxville mission!!!
