Why I love UVU
First of all....Happy New Year! Can you believe it's 2012?
Disclaimer: No, I don't believe the world is going to end.
Too many other great things have to happen before the end of the world can happen. End of story.
Now....
Do you want to know why I love being a student at UVU?
Well, I never thought this was possible, but I do! I love how small the class sizes are. I love the Communication Department. I love the professors. They really try and get to know you and are actually concerned about your welfare and how you are doing in their class. There are lots of people to meet and lots of ways you can get involved. I love finding familiar faces, even among the mass of faces to see no matter where you walk.
I also never thought I would like living in "Happy Valley", but it's a really fun place to be at. So many things to do, places to go, people to meet....
I know I was supposed to come to UVU. It's been a great experience. Lots of people think that UVU is just that school you go to when you are from near-by and want to live at home to save money or because you didn't make it into BYU. It is so much more than that. UVU is a fantastic school that lots of people take for granted.
I wish people had more school spirit about UVU. It's an awesome university. They have fabulous professors, awesome classes, and great people.
I guess it just goes to show that you can find great things in the places you least expect to :)
